Nichols College Athletics Hall of Fame
Risk was a 3-sport star playing basketball, baseball and football, He was named Outstanding Freshman Athlete for Nichols and was also named Outstanding Athlete in his second year. He played third base for the baseball team, center in basketball, and played both sides of the line in football and member of the 1949 undefeated football team.
