The Nichols College Division of Athletics is always looking for energetic and highly motivated students to join our game management team.
Available positions include:
Statistician
Assist with statistics for men's and women's soccer, football, field hockey, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, softball, and men's and women's lacrosse.
Scoreboard Operator
Run the scoreboard at volleyball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, and softball.
Public Address Announcer
Delivering live announcements during home athletic events. This role helps create a positive game-day atmosphere while ensuring key information—such as starting lineups, scoring plays, sponsor reads, and safety announcements—is communicated to Bison fan base!
Broadcasters
Serve as the 'Voice of the Bison!' We are looking for on-air talent to serve as either the play-by-play announcer or color commentator at all home contests. Nichols currently broadcasts all football, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, softball, baseball, and men's and women's lacrosse games.
On-Field Assistants
Assist with the yard and first down markers at football games, line judges for volleyball matches, and ball chasers for field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and softball.
Camera Operator
Run the camera for our live broadcasts. Must pay close attention to the contest and be able to determine when to zoom in and out. The video from this broadcast will be cut and used to generate highlight reels.
Ticket Taker
Manage and collect tickets for all home football and basketball (men's & women's) basketball contests.
Penalty Box)
Penalty box door operator at all home ice hockey (men's and women's) games at Levy Rink.
Thunder (Mascot)
Serve as Thunder - the official mascot of Nichols College - for select home events, including specialty games and senior days! May also be asked to appear at various athletic promotional events.
