Nichols College is excited to offer exceptional onsite physical therapy services to our athletes, student body and staff through Connections Physical Therapy starting August 27th, 2026.
This on-campus physical therapy program provides convenient access to licensed physical therapists for students, student-athletes, faculty, and staff. With a strong emphasis on supporting the health and performance of collegiate athletes, our team specializes in the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries, as well as rehabilitation, return-to-play planning, and performance optimization.
Connections works closely with athletic trainers, coaches, and healthcare providers to help student-athletes recover safely, reduce injury risk, and perform at their highest level.
Services Provided:
- Sport-specific rehabilitation programs
- Performance enhancement and movement optimization
- Return-to-sport testing and progression
- Overuse injury management
- Collaboration with coaches, athletic trainers, and healthcare providers
- Manual therapy and joint mobilization techniques
- Graston Technique® (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization)
- Dry Needling for muscle pain, trigger points, and movement dysfunction
- Soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release
- Running and gait analysis
- Education on injury prevention, recovery, and long-term wellness
