Nichols College Athletics Hall of Fame
Venezia was a 2 sport athlete in baseball and basketball for Nichols. He received the 1953 Outstanding Freshman Athlete award and recipient of the 1954 Athletic and Scholastic award. Venezia was on the honor roll for both years, and later signed a professional baseball contract with the Milwaukee Braves in 1955. Â
