Bryan Meuse anchored the Nichols defense from 2003-06. After registering just nine tackles as a freshman in 2003, Meuse recorded 98 tackles in 2004 – including 13.5 tackles for loss (TFL) and 4.5 sacks – as he received the Nichols College Outstanding Sophomore Athlete Award (Male).

Meuse wrote himself into the NCAA record book in 2005, when he recorded a single-game record 30 tackles against Endicott on Oct. 29, 2005. He finished the season No. 5 in the nation in tackles/game (15.9) and was one of four student-athletes in the country to tally 143 tackles, which was the 15th highest total in the country. Meuse’s 143 tackles still stand as the Nichols single-season record.

Meuse closed the 2005 campaign with 10.5 TFL and 4.0 sacks to go along with a pair of interceptions. He also returned seven kick-offs for an average of 20.9 ypr. For his efforts, he was an NEFC First Team selection as well as the Nichols College Outstanding Junior Athlete Award (Male) recipient.

As a senior, Meuse was again named to the NEFC First Team and also received the Team Defensive MVP and the Nichols College Outstanding Senior Athlete Award (Male). He registered 95 tackles, 9.5 TFL, three sacks, and three forced fumbles. Meuse finished his career with 345 tackles (192 solo), 34.5 TFL, 12.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, and three interceptions.
