Nichols College Athletics Hall of Fame
LeVar was a four-year starting defensive back and return specialist for the Bison football team, leading Nichols to the Boyd Division Championship in his senior season and an ECAC Championship game as a junior. A three-time All-NEFC selection, LeVar earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2000 at both defensive back and return specialist.
Named the NEFC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998, LeVar was named the team's Rookie of the Year and the College awarded him with the Gary McNulty Award for Outstanding Male Freshman Athlete of the Year. The following season, LeVar helped the Bison to their first winning record in seven seasons (6-3) and the 10th ranking in the ECAC New England Poll. The following year, he brought the Bison to their first-ever ECAC Northeast Championship game and one of the best seasons in school history.
LeVar led Nichols to a pass efficiency defense of 78.6  in 2000, ranking the Bison seventh in the nation, and was named Honorable Mention All-American and First Team All-NEFC at both defensive back and return specialist.  He earned ECAC DIII Northeast All Star First Team defensive back honors and Second Team return specialist accolades. The College also named him the Outstanding Junior Male Athlete. LeVar and the Bison returned to the postseason in 2001, claiming the Boyd Division title and back-to-back postseason appearances for the first time since the 1970's.
???????LeVar also played one year of lacrosse at midfield and was a sprinter during his freshman year on the track team. He qualified for New England's in the 100m and held the Nichols College record in the event with a time of 11.26 upon induction. He was part of the college's record-holding 4x100 meter squad with a time of 44.55.
