  • Sport(s)
    Men's Basketball
Though he only played two seasons with the Bison, Chris's impact on the men's basketball program was striking during his short stay. One of the top scorers in the nation in Division III in both the 1989-90 and 1990-91 seasons, Chris averaged over 24 points per game in his career and was one of just two men's basketball players in Nichols College history to have reached the 1,000 point mark in two seasons at the time of induction.

He stood 19th on the Bison's all-time scoring chart with 1,081 points in 44 career games at the time of induction, and his 24.57 point per game average was the second-highest in Bison history. He also held the record for most free throws made in a season with 135, set in 1990-91. He went 10-for-10 at the line against Westfield State in the same season, tying a Nichols College record, and finished his career as an 84.8% shooter from the charity stripe (256-302).

Chris was named the team's most valuable player and was recognized by the Worcester Area Sports Writers in each season at Nichols, serving as co-captain in his senior year.
