Duchesneau was a 3 year, 2 sport athlete for the football and track teams. He was named all New England in football and held the record in track for the 100 and 220 yard events. For the football team, he was a leading scorer, MVP and set a record for the longest touchdown run from scrimmage in Bison history, at 92 yards.
