Nichols College Athletics Hall of Fame
A two-time CCC Field Hockey First Team selection (2011-12), Widdison shared CCC Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2012, when she established single-season program records for goals (24), points (57), and shots (195).

Widdison made an immediate impact on the program as a freshman, finishing third on head coach Kristan Mallet’s squad with 24 points (7-17-24) to help the Bison capture the CCC Championship and the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Following the season, Widdison received the Nichols College Outstanding Female Freshman Athlete award.

The Greenfield, Massachusetts native collected a team-leading 10 assists as a sophomore and finished the campaign with 22 points, receiving the Nancy Rossini Memorial Award for Outstanding Female Sophomore Athlete honors in the process. Widdison then potted a career-high 14 goals during her junior campaign and closed the season with team-leading 31 points en route to earning CCC First Team honors.

After spending the majority of her career on the backend, Widdison was moved to forward as a senior and flourished, scoring six game-winning goals and guiding the Bison to the conference championship contest. She recorded at least three points in nine games in 2012, highlighted by a four-point effort (2G, 1A) in a CCC Semifinal overtime win at UNE. Widdison was a CCC First Team pick as well as the Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the Nichols Outstanding Female Senior Athlete Award recipient.

Widdison was a four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad pick who also garnered Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-New England Region First Team and All-America Third Team honors following her senior season. Additionally, Widdison was named to the Capital One Academic District 1 NCAA Division III First Team in 2012.
