Bromley was an outstanding player for the men's soccer and tennis teams. He won the 1970 Southern New England Conference singles tennis championship and went undefeated in 33 straight singles tennis matches in his 3 year career. He was undefeated in doubles for 3 years and was also team MVP for those 3 years.Â
Bromley was the starting goalie in soccer as a freshman and made 264 saves, including 4 shutouts. His senior season included 339 saves and a 1.14 goals-against-average. He was MVP 3 years in a row for soccer as well. At the time, he was the youngest member to be inducted and selected in the first year he was eligible.
