Conquest was a two-year captain of the Nichols College football team (2000-01) who currently ranks No. 7 in career tackles for loss (TFL) with 31.5. He recorded a single-season record 19.0 TFL in 1999 – including a career-high 11 sacks – and was named to the Worcester Area First Team and a New England Football Conference (NEFC) Honorable Mention. The Bison finished the 1999 campaign No. 14 nationally in total defense, and Conquest received ECAC weekly honors twice that season.

The Bison's four-year record with Conquest on the defensive line was 24-15. As a junior, Nichols participated in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast Championship against Westfield State, and led the conference and ranked No. 7 nationally in pass efficiency defense. The following year, the Bison earned a share of the NEFC Boyd Division Championship as Conquest tallied 39 tackles and three sacks.

At the time of induction, Conquest owned seven career fumble recoveries, which ranked No. 1 all-time at NC. He recovered three in both 1999 and 2001, and closed his career with 163 tackles and 10 passes defended.
