Nichols College Athletics Hall of Fame
Roode was honored as a two-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Payer of the Year, and received CCC Rookie of the Year distinction as a freshman. He graduated ranked No. 1 in program-history in career singles wins (76) and No. 2 all-time in career doubles wins (63), while also piecing together two of the best individual seasons performances in both singles (23-'14, 22-'15) and doubles (21-'13, 20-'14). In 2014-15, he won 22 singles matches, which ranks as the second-highest single-season mark in program history, and finished season with 20 consecutive singles wins. The 2013-14 season saw him win a program-record 23 singles matches, along with 20 doubles matches, which was the second-highest single-season mark in program history.
At the conclusion of the 2012-13 campaign, Roode found himself ranked No. 8 in ITA Regional doubles rankings, while going 16-6 in singles (4-1 CCC) and 21-3 in doubles (7-0 in Conference Play).
