EASTON, Mass. – The Nichols College men's tennis team opened the 2021-22 campaign this past weekend at the Stonehill Invitational. 

The Flight C squad of junior Jason Lee and freshman Steven Kuang was also victorious, finishing with 28 points – 11 better than the Skyhawks. Freshmen Diego Martinez and Santiago Perez collected 19 points as the NC Flight D team, which vaulted them past Roger Williams (19), Stonehill (18), and Wheaton (MA) (11) and sent them home champions.

The Flight A Team of freshmen Moritz Kern and Giacomo Ghitti recorded 18 points, which was one behind Roger Williams for second place. The team of graduate student Sam Kluger and freshman Arthur Ferreira captured 17 points in the Flight B bracket. 

Nichols returns to action on Friday, September 10 when it hosts Wheaton (MA) in a non-conference match at 3:30 p.m.
