Justin DeLuca (Mashpee, Mass.) broke the school-record for doubles wins in a career as the Nichols College men's tennis team defeated Wentworth 9-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Friday afternoon at Harvard University.

David Drucker with his 58th career doubles win when he and junior
Brandon Roode (Griswold, Conn.) knocked off sophomore James Drum (Madison, Conn.) and freshman Matthew Smith (Pelham, N.H.) 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
With the win the Bison improve to 16-1 overall and remain undefeated (6-0) in CCC play while the Leopards slip to 3-6 (2-4 CCC).

Cam Lewis (Bolton, Conn.) teamed with freshman
Jake Zapatka (Wethersfield, Conn.) at No. 3 doubles to take an 8-0 win over Leopard freshman Mike Withington (Plymouth, Mass.) and sophomore Gaurav Tilva (Windsor, Conn.). Senior
Dan Roman (Tolland, Conn.) and sophomore
Josh Halpern (Seacaucus, N.J.) completed the sweep of doubles with an 8-4 win over freshman Nate Schwartz (Chester Springs, Pa.) and sophomore Josh Dowd (Bristol, Conn.) at No. 2 doubles.
DeLuca gave Nichols a 4-0 lead with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Drum at No. 1 singles before junior
Andrew Haas' (Whitinsville, Mass.) 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 over freshman Zach Peter (Preston, Conn.) clinched the match.
Zapatka defeated freshman Seng Ly (Lynn, Mass.), 6-0, 6-0, at number four, Roode swept Smith, 6-0, 6-0, at number two, Halpern beat Schwartz, 6-1, 6-2 at number three, and Roman defeated junior Dylan Melnik (Wake Forest, N.C.), 8-2, at No. 5 singles.
The Bison travel to play Endicott College tomorrow at noon. The Leopards travel to play Roger Williams at 1:00 p.m.
