MILTON, Mass. (Mar. 31) – The Nichols College men's tennis team won its third-straight match Thursday afternoon with a 9-0 The Commonwealth Coast Conference victory at Curry. The Bison conceded just 10 games through the entire match to the Colonels, and improve to 6-4 overall and 3-0 in TCCC action. Curry is 0-4 overall and winless in conference play at 0-3.

Nichols posted 8-2 wins at first and second doubles, while David Drucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) and Eliot Wuhrmann (Fontainbleau, France) won 8-1 at the third flight.

In singles play, the Bison received shutout victories from Tyler McLaughlin (Hollis, N.H.) at the third flight, Isiah Prosper (Manchester, N.H.) at the fifth flight, and Wuhrmann in the sixth spot. Drucker surrendered one game in his first set at first singles, while Steve Carella (Rocky Hill, Conn.) won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles. Dan Young (Washington Depot, Conn.) posted a shutout first set and won his second, 6-2 at the fourth flight.

Nichols puts its undefeated conference record on the line at home Saturday in an 11:30 a.m. match against Gordon.
