HANOVER, N.H. (Mar. 26) – The Nichols College men's tennis team opened The Commonwealth Coast Conference play with a 9-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer Saturday afternoon at Dartmouth College's Boss Tennis Center. Nichols improves to 4-4 overall, while Colby-Sawyer dips to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference action.
Nichols surrendered just 13 games in singles play, and received a 6-1, 6-0 win from
David Drucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) at the top flight, his first at the position this spring. He and
Eliot Wuhrmann (Fontainbleau, France) posted an 8-2 win at third doubles, the largest margin of victory in doubles play on the day.
The Bison are back in action on Tuesday when they open their home spring schedule with a 3:30 TCCC match against Roger Williams.
