NEW LONDON, Conn. (Oct. 5) -- The Nichols College men's tennis team was swept on the singles side in an 8-1 non-conference loss at Coast Guard Wednesday afternoon. The Bears improve to 3-1 in their final fall match, while Nichols dips to 1-3 prior to the Bison's final action this weekend at the Stonehill Invitational. Senior Steve Carella and first year Brandon Roode earned Nichols' lone point with a 9-8 (2) victory at the top doubles flight.
