DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College men's tennis team opened The Commonwealth Coast Conference play with a 7-2 victory over Wentworth Tuesday afternoon. Dan Saucier (Newington, Conn.) clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Nate Gove at No. 6 singles, leading the Bison to a sweep on the singles side after being down, 2-1, after doubles play.

Stephen Carella (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and Oliver McNutt (East Lyme, Conn.) continued to roll at No. 2 doubles, winning their sixth-straight in the second doubles spot and seventh on the year as a tandem. The pair defeated John Kelly and Gove, 8-1.

Nichols (6-3) continues TCCC action on Wednesday in a 3:30 p.m. match at Eastern Nazarene that was rescheduled from Monday.
