DUDLEY, Mass. (8/25/2026) - Under the guidance of second-year head coach Don Lemieux, the Nichols College men's golf program enters the 2026 fall season aiming to build upon one of the most successful campaigns in program history.

The Bison are coming off a record-setting season that featured multiple team medals, several program scoring marks and standout performances against some of the region's top competition. Nichols captured titles at both the Brett Williamson Invitational and Bison Spring Invitational, tied for eighth in a 22-team field at the NEIGA Championship and wrapped up the season with a runner-up finish at the Gordon College Shootout.

While the program graduated a talented senior class, the Bison return one of their most notable golfers in senior Nick White. White enjoyed a breakout junior campaign, posting a 77.2 scoring average while earning the first two individual medalist honors of his collegiate career with victories at the Brett Williamson Invitational and Bison Spring Invitational. Additionally, the Bison welcome a trio of new arrivals to the program. 

"Last season gave our program a lot to be proud of, but this group understands that every year brings a new challenge," said Lemieux. "We have a strong foundation to build from, and with the returners to lead the way and several players ready to take on bigger roles, we're excited to see what this team can accomplish."

With a combination of veteran leadership and golfers poised for expanded opportunities, Nichols will look to carry last year's momentum into the 2026-27 campaign and once again establish itself as a contender in the Conference of New England.

Nichols opens the fall campaign at the Mitchell College Invitational on Wednesday, September 2nd at Shennecossett Golf Course.
