WARWICK, R.I. (10/1/2026) - Ahead of the 2026 CNE Men's Golf Championship this upcoming weekend, the Nichols College men's golf team finished third at the Rhode Island College Fall Invitational on Wednesday at Valley Country Club.
The Bison carded a team score of 344 (+56) on the par-72, 6,508-yard layout to finish behind host and winner Rhode Island College (319, +31) and Dean College (328, +40). Lasell University finished fourth with a 363 (+75).
Nichols was led by senior Tristan Joyce, who fired an 82 (+10) to finish tied for seventh overall. Cooper Kilpatrick followed with an 84 (+12), placing 10th, while Logan Rawson carded an 88 (+16) to finish tied for 12th. Trent Pichie recorded a 90 (+18), good for 16th, and Drew Barrett rounded out the Bison lineup with a 92 (+20) to place 19th.
Rhode Island College's Kyle Cullen and Dean's Blake Bolduc shared medalist honors after each shooting a 77 (+5).
Round one of the CNE Championship will be on Saturday, October 3rd at Blackledge Country Club, with tee-off set for 11:00 AM.
