WESTFIELD, Mass. (9/23/2026) - The Nichols College men's golf team placed ninth out of 11 programs at the Brett Williamson Invitational on Tuesday at the Par-71 Tekoa Country Club, hosted by Westfield State.
Nichols finished the day at 63-over par 347 on the par-71, 6,438-yard layout, placing ahead of Westfield State "C" (+74) and Mitchell College (382). Lesley University was the winning program at 37-over 321, with Rhode Island College and Westfield State "A" tying for runner up (+38).
Sophomore
Owen Shearer led the way for Nichols, firing an 82 (+11) to finish tied for 20th overall. Classmate
Logan Rawson followed with an 86 (+15) to land in a six-way tie for 32
nd, while
Drew Barrett finished three strokes back at 89 (+18), placing tied for 43
rd.
Cooper Kilpatrick finished with a 90 (+19) to tie for 45
th, and
Trent Pichie rounded out the Nichols lineup with a 91 (+20), tying for 47
th.
Men's golf will next host its Bison Fall Invitational at Raceway Golf Club in Thompson Connecticut on Tuesday, September 29
th.
