HEBRON, Conn. (10/5/02026) - The Nichols College men's golf team finished ninth at the 2026 Conference of New England (CNE) Championship, carding a team score of 319 (+31) on Sunday at Blackledge Country Club.
The championship was contested at Blackledge Country Club's Gilead Highlands course, which played 6,537 yards at par 72. Hartford captured the team championship with a 286 (-2), followed by Roger Williams at 299 (+11). Western New England and Endicott tied for third at 300 (+12).
Nick White paced the Bison, firing a 77 (+5) to finish tied for 24th individually. White recorded three birdies in each of the two rounds and improved by three strokes on the closing day.
Tyler Labonte followed with a 78 (+6) to finish 36th individually, and made a significant improvement on the final day, shaving eight strokes off his opening-round score. Brady Salah carded an 82 (+10) to finish tied for 39th, recording two birdies in the final round. Liam Frisbie also posted an 82 (+10), finishing 43rd, while Owen Shearer rounded out the Nichols lineup with a 96 (+24).
With the regular season winding down, men's golf will have one more tournament on deck at the NEIGA Championships on October 17-18 at The Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.
