THOMPSON, Conn. (9/29/2026) – Senior
Brady Salah earned the first medalist honors of his collegiate career on Tuesday afternoon, leading the Nichols men's golf team to a home victory at their own Bison Fall Invitational at Raceway Golf Club.
Six total teams competed at the par-72, 6,591-yard layout, with Nichols fielding an A and B squad. The A team claimed the win at 313 (+25), while Rhode Island College placed runner-up with a 321 (+33), and Westfield State at 323 (+35) for third.
Salah's winning performance saw him card a 75 (+3) on the day, placing him atop the individual leaderboard. Classmate
Nick White followed with a 78 (+6) to place runner-up, while
Tyler Labonte and
Owen Shearer each shot an 80 (+8) to tie for seventh overall.
Liam Frisbie rounded out the Nichols A team with an 82 (+10) outing, landing him in a tie for 14th.
Meanwhile, the Nichols B team finished fifth overall with a 337 (+49) out of the six-team field.
Tristan Joyce led the Bison B squad with an 82 (+10), joining Frisbie in a tie for 14th overall.
Drew Barrett carded an 83 (+11) to tie for 17th, while
Trent Pichie finished 23rd with an 85 (+13).
Logan Rawson posted an 87 (+15) to tie for 24th, and
Cooper Kilpatrick rounded out the B team with a 93 (+21) to finish 27th.
Men's golf continues their busy week with a stop at the Rhode Island College Fall Invitational this Thursday, October 1
st. The tournament will take place at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island.
