Track & Field Closes Season at NED3 Championships

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (5/2/2026) - The Nichols College men's and women's track & field programs sent small groups of athletes to Springfield College for the New England Division III (NE D3) Championships this Friday and Saturday.

The men's side saw competition from Jackson Shea, Braxton Rocha, Nolan Charbonneau, Eric Manilut, Giormani Fortes De Brito, Patrick Bergin, and Gregory Sadlak. Women's track & field sent Gabrielle McKayle, Lixion Koulmbai, Caminea Layman, and Summer Bruno.

Men's 4x100m Relay
Eric Manilut, Nolan Charbonneau, Giormani Fortes De Brito, Braxton Rocha - 43.04 (9th)

Record Breaks (Women)

Women's 4x400m Relay
Lixion Koulmbai, Gabrielle McKayle, Caminea Layman, Summer Bruno - 4:18.11 (14th)

The Men's 4x100m Relay squad's time of 43.04 breaks the program record, replacing their last mark set at Connecticut College of 43.10. This year alone, Sadlak has now been responsible for multiple 4x100m relay record-breaks, also breaking the men's 800m dash and 4x400m relay record, leaving a lasting impact in the program as a graduate student. The Women's 4x400m Relay team replaces the last top time of 4:28.19 for the Bison with a mark of 4:18.11.
