BEVERLY, Mass. (4/20/2026) - Nichols College junior Liam Wilcox has been named Conference of New England (CNE) Field Athlete of the Week following a record-breaking performance at the Bonnie Edmondson Classic.

Wilcox delivered one of the top field performances of the weekend for the Bison, setting a new program record in the pole vault with a mark of 3.85 meters, surpassing his own previous record of 3.80 meters set at the CNE Championship last season. His performance highlighted a strong overall showing for Nichols as the team placed seventh out of eight competing programs.

Nichols will return to action at the CNE Championships, where Wilcox will look to continue his strong form and build on his record-setting performance.
