CNE Release

BEVERLY, Mass. (1/5/2026) – Freshman forward Keira Goffe of the Nichols College women's ice hockey team was selected as the Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Goffe is a first-time recipient of weekly honors from the conference and is the second player this season to be named the top player.

The freshman forward turned in a two-goal performance last week against undefeated Albertus Magnus College, which was her first multi-goal outing this season and second multi-point game. She also delivered four total shots and went 24-of-41 (58.5%) from the faceoff circle. Overall, the Bison went 1-1 on the week, handing the Falcons their first loss of the season.  

Goffe and the Bison are back home this Friday, January 9th, against non-conference Rivier University (8-4, 4-1 MASCAC) with puck drop scheduled for 3:40 PM at Levy Rink.
