FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Nichols golf team competed in the Farmingdale State Spring Golf Invitational at the Bethpage Red Course on Saturday, with Sunday being cancelled due to weather. The Bison shot a total score of 307, finishing in eighth place.
 
Drew Stanton was the low scorer for the Bison, finishing his round with a 73, which placed him tied for ninth out of 51 total golfers. Senior Colby Mitchell was right behind Stanton, firing off a 74 to tie him for fourteenth. Luke Sargent and Colby Allen each finished their round with a score of 80, while Cameron DeSante and Andrew Buckholz rounded out the scores for the team with an 84, and an 86, respectively.
 
The Bison will participate in the Rich Korzec Invitational on Wednesday, April 26 at Blackstone Country Club in Sutton, Mass. before turning their attention to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship next weekend.
