BREWSTER, Mass. – The Nichols College golf team placed sixth at the 86th New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship Monday afternoon at The Captains Course. The Bison finished at +64 (319-321-640).

Senior Colby Mitchell finished fourth overall at +7, shooting a 77 on Sunday and a 74 today. As a result, the Gloucester, Mass. native earned a spot on the 2021 Men's All-New England Team.

Classmate Casey Torname was next for head coach Tim Howard as he earned a share of 33rd place at +18 (83-79). Sophomore Luke Sargent finished in a tie for 36th place at +19 (80-83) while graduate student Reece McLeod finished at +21 (80-85) to earn a 41st place.

Freshman Evan Libby closed the event at +27 (82-89) and finished in a tie for 57th place.

The event featured 16 collegiate institutions, including CCC members Roger Williams, Endicott, UNE, Western New England, Wentworth, and Suffolk.
