Day Two Results

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College golf team placed third at the 2015 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Sunday afternoon at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club.

The Bison finished the event +67 (627), which was 16 strokes behind first-place Western New England (+51; 611) and 15 behind Endicott (+52; 612). Wentworth placed fourth at +88 (648).

Senior Kevin Wheeler (Agawam, Mass.) placed fourth as he finished +12 (75-77-152). Classmate Nick Masciadrelli (Westfield, Mass.) – who shot a season-low 78 on Saturday – was even better on Sunday, recording a 76 to finish the event tied for sixth at +14 (78-76-154).

Sophomore Nick Wage (Holden, Mass.) finished his event +20 (79-81-160) to earn a share of 13th place.

Freshman Remy Fletcher (Billerica, Mass.) was one stroke better than Saturday's 81 on Sunday and finished 15th at +21 (81-80-161) while sophomore Caleb Tanson (Rockport, Mass.) replicated Saturday's 85 and finished 18th at +30 (85-85-170).

Austin Teal of Endicott finished +7 to capture first-place, finishing with a two-day total of 147 (75-72).
