Box Score DUDLEY, Mass. (Sept. 13) – In an unusual situation, the Nichols women's soccer picked up its first victory of the season with a 1-0 forfeit over visiting Wheelock after only one half of play was completed.
 
Per NCAA rules the Bison are credited with a win due to the visiting team having an insufficient number of field players to continue the match.
 
Though Nichols was leading 6-0 at the break, the rulebook also states because the match had not reached 70 minutes none of the stats are recorded.
 
Nichols (1-4-0) hits the road for three contests beginning with a 4:00 p.m. match at Bay Path on Thursday, while Wheelock (0-3-0) ventures to Framingham State a week from today for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
