DUDLEY, Mass. (10/25/2025) – The Nichols College women's soccer team fell 7-0 to Roger Williams University in Conference of New England action Saturday afternoon as they honored their seniors at the Nichols Soccer Field.
With the result, Nichols drops to 1-15-1 (0-9 CNE), while Roger Williams moves to 10-2-5 (5-1-3 CNE).
The Hawks took control early, finding the back of the net three times in the opening 25 minutes. Julia Robbins opened the scoring in the 12th minute, followed shortly by a pair of tallies from Meghan Goutink in the 14th and 25th minutes, both assisted by Elizabeth Yucius and Mya D'Antonio.
Freshmen
Cassie Rice and
Madison Dembowski both registered a shot on goal in the first half, but both were saved by Roger Williams' keeper Coco Marrelli. The Hawks headed into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
Robbins and Yucius continued to shine for the visitors in the second half, connecting on back-to-back goals in the 57th and 58th minutes to extend the advantage to 5-0. Robbins later capped her hat trick in the 66th minute, and Kaitlyn Alagno added a goal of her own with 9 seconds remaining to seal the 7-0 victory for Roger Williams.
While the Bison continued to battle until the final whistle in search of an offensive breakthrough, they were not able to score.

Isabella Dupret made several key stops through 61 minutes before switching out for junior
Hannah Deschene. Dupret recorded 11 saves on the day, while Deschene made 5 saves in the 29 minutes played.
After the final whistle, the women's soccer program honored its three seniors for their hard work and dedication to the program. The senior honorees were:
Abigail Graham,
Taylor Pickering, and
Falyn Hunt.
The Bison return to action on Wednesday, October 29th when they travel to Boston to face Suffolk University at 7 PM. This will be the Bison's final regular season game of the year.
