BEVERLY, Mass. (11/2/2026) - Junior forward Alexis Pacheco of the Nichols College women's ice hockey team has been named Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week following an impressive performance during the opening weekend of the 2026-27 season.

Pacheco recorded three points on two goals and one assist across two games as the Bison opened the season with a 2-0 record against Framingham State University.

Pacheco began the weekend by recording an assist in Nichols' 5-0 season-opening victory over the Rams on Friday, Oct. 30th. She followed that performance with a two-goal outing in Saturday's 5-2 victory, scoring the game's opening goal just 45 seconds into the contest before finding the back of the net again with 10 seconds remaining in the first period.

The junior's three-point weekend helped Nichols secure its first two victories of the season, while her two goals paced the Bison offensively in Saturday's home-opening win.

The Player of the Week nod marks her first weekly honors.

Nichols returns to action on Tuesday, November 3rd, when it travels to face Roger Williams University at 6:00 PM.
