BIDDEFORD, Maine – Nichols College saw 104 student-athletes earn 2022 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team honors. The spring list includes participants from each of the CCC's member institutions who compete in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's golf, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.
Fifteen members of the men's ice hockey program were named to the team: seniors

Seniors

Lane Parks (sport management) were two of the five members of the CCC champion men's tennis program on the team. The pair was joined by junior

Caio Dieckmann (economics) and
Trevor Schwarzmann (accounting & sport management).
Two seniors and three juniors from the women's basketball program were named to the team: seniors
Amanda Donoghue (criminal justice & psychology) and
Jillian Spillane (accounting), along with juniors
Erin Cann (accounting),
Toni Geisel (management & finance), and
Leandra Ortiz (management & marketing).
Junior CCC Golfer of the Year
Colby Mitchell (marketing) was one of four men's golf student-athletes named to the team, along with seniors
Troy Howe (general business) and
Brian Kallajian (sport management) and sophomore
Luke Sargent (marketing).
The five-time reigning CCC champion men's basketball program placed two seniors on the team:
Jaden Feaste (history) and
Jason O'Regan (management).
A total of 941 student-athletes from the conference's 10 institutions comprised the list. In order to be recognized as a member of the Academic All-Conference Team an athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status.
