PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – The Nichols College golf team placed first at the Roger Williams Invitation Tuesday at Green Valley Country Club, edging the Hawks by three strokes.

Seniors Reece McLeod and Jacob Willis shared first place with Frank Mahoney of Endicott; all three finished +1 (72). Sophomore Colby Mitchell earned a share of fourth place as he finished a +11 (82).

Junior Casey Torname tied for eighth place at +13 (84) while classmate Brian Kallajian shared 16th place at +18 (89).
