The Nichols College golf team placed fourth at the 2019 Farmingdale State College Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y.
Junior
Jacob Willis – who was a medalist last time out at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Qualifier earlier this month – earned a share of 11th place by finishing at +12 (78-74). Junior
John Marlborough was next for head coach
Tim Howard at +13 (76-77) – good for a share of 13th place – while junior
Reece McLeod closed the event in a tie for 15th place at +14 (78-76).
Three things you need to know...
-Seniors
Patrick Hesseltine (+15) and
TJ Barber (+27) also competed for the Bison.
-Rosemont College won the event with a team score of +41, followed by Farmingdale St. (+48) and Johnson & Wales (RI) (+50).
-Willis currently leads the Bison with a season average of 77.
