The Nichols College golf team placed second at the 2019 Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Blackstone Country Club.

The Bison (+23) finished three strokes behind first-place Babson (+20) and were led by junior TJ Barber, who finished two-over par (74) to medal at the event. Sophomore Reece McLeod earned a share of third-place, finishing at four-over par (76) while junior Patrick Hesseltine tied for eighth by finishing +8 (80).   

Three things you need to know...
            -Fellow Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) member Wentworth grabbed third place (+41), followed by Worcester State (+52), Westfield State (+53), and Rhode Island College (+65).
            -Ben Crawford (Babson) finished one stroke back of Barber and earned sole possession of second place.
            -Sophomore Jacob Willis (+9) and senior Colton Hudson (+11) shared ninth and 15th place, respectively, for Nichols.
