The Nichols College golf team earned a share of eighth place Sunday afternoon at the Rosemont Raven Invitational at Downingtown Country Club.
 
Sophomore Reece McLeod was +11, shooting an 80 on day one and a 75 on day two. Junior Patrick Hesseltine was next for the Bison in 35th place at +13; he shot a 77 on Saturday and an 80 on Sunday.
 
Sophomore Jacob Willis placed 39th as he finished at +15. He shaved seven strokes off his total on Saturday to post a 76 on Sunday, highlighted by a birdie on the seventh hole. Junior TJ Barber was fourth for NC at +21 (86-79-165), including a birdie on the ninth hole.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -McLeod eagled the first hole on Sunday afternoon and he shot par on 24 holes at the event.
            -Hesseltine shot par on 19 holes and recorded a pair of birdies, one on the eighth hole on day one and the other on the second hole on day two.
            -Freshman Brian Kallajian (+21), senior Colton Hudson (+25), and junior Tyler St. Cyr (+46) also competed for head coach Tim Howard.
