PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – The Nichols College golf team qualified for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Tournament in April by virtue of its fourth-place finish at the Qualifier Thursday at Montaup Country Club.

Senior Remy Fletcher (Billerica, Mass.) earned a share of ninth place as he finished seven-over par (78). Sophomore Patrick Hesseltine (Westford, Mass.) finished in a tie for 11th place, one stroke back of Fletcher at 79 (+10).
 
Freshman Reece McLeod (Leicester, Mass.) finished nine-over par (80) to earn a share of 17th place while senior Dylan Casserly (Braintree, Mass.) tied for 19th place after shooting an 81 (+10). Sophomore TJ Barber (Cornish, N.H.) placed 28th (86; +15).
 
Endicott won the event with a team score of 300, followed by Western New England (311), Roger Williams (316), and the Bison (318). These four will all compete at the CCC Championship.
 
Wentworth finished three strokes back of the Bison at 321 while UNE (333) and Eastern Nazarene (338) also missed the cut.
