WILBRAHAM, Mass. - Junior Jordon Kadlik (Kennebunk, Maine) shot an 85 (+13) to help the Nichols College golf team to a 10th place finish at the Elms College Blazer Invitational Wednesday at the Westover Golf Course.

The Bison finished with a team score of 349 (+61). Kadlik shot a 43 on the front nine and a 42 on the back nine, which placed him in a tie for 24th place overall. Freshman Nick Wage (Holden, Mass.) closed the day at +15 (44-43-87) – good for a share of 44th place.

Junior Kevin Wheeler (Agawam, Mass.) shot an 88 (45-43; +16) to finish tied for 48th, followed by junior Nick Masciadrelli (Westfield, Mass.) in a tie for 51st place with an 89 (49-40; +17) and freshman Evan Ryan (Norton, Mass.) in a tie for 54th place (43-47-90; +18).

Elms College won the event with a team score of 310 (+22). Castleton State was four strokes off the lead (+26) while Rhode Island College was third, nine strokes back (+31).

Nichols competes at the ECAC Championship on Oct. 12-13 at Crumpin Fox Golf Club.
