SUTTON, Mass. (April 17) -- The Nichols College men's golf team finished 10th of 12 teams at the Worcester State Invitational Tuesday. Led by an 18th-place finish by Nick Masciadrelli, the Bison were four strokes back of eighth-place finishers Westfield State and Springfield College with a composite 343 on the par-72, 6,655-yard Blackstone Valley National Golf Course.

Masciadrelli shot a 41 on the front nine and added a stroke to his back nine score to tie for 18th with four other players. Kevin Wheeler had the same score on the front, but shot a 43 on the back to finish one stroke behind in a tie for 23rd. Tyler Sleeper cut five strokes off his front nine score to tie for 47th with an 89, and Jordon Kadlik was two strokes back in a tie for 56th in the 75-player field. Zach Kohn rounded out the Bison squad in 69th with a 98.

Nichols continues its spring schedule Thursday at Veterans Memorial Golf Course competing in the Western New England University Invitational.
