Box Score NORTHFIELD, Vt. (Feb. 25) – The #8 Nichols women's ice hockey squad fell 8-0 at #1 Norwich to wrap up the most successful season to date on Saturday afternoon at Kreitzberg Arena in ECAC East Quarterfinal round action. The Bison complete the season with a 7-17-2 record and claim the highest season win total in the brief four-year history of the program.
Senior
Mandy Manopla became the first Bison to play in 100 games as Nichols finishes its season in a tie with the Cadets at seventh on the national leaderboard with an 88.3 penalty kill percentage.
Norwich began the scoring 5:19 into the contest as Kaycie Anderson notched her first goal of the afternoon. The 2012 ECAC East Rookie of the Year then went on to record a natural hat-trick over the next 10:36. Sarianne Lynn put the Cadets ahead 4-0 with 44 ticks left in the frame.
The Cadets then went on to post a pair of goals in each of the final two periods.

Tori Gianformaggio would be relieved by sophomore
Francesca Palazzo for the final 40 minutes of action. The netminders combined to stop 44 shots with Palazzo racking up 35 in her shift.
The contest marked the end of the careers for Manopla,
Hannah Tardif and
Courtney Carey. The trio comprised the first set of four-year seniors in the short tenure of the program as a varsity sport.
