DUDLEY, Mass. (Sept. 20) – Rhode Island College's freshman Patrick Ford turned in an even par round as the Anchormen finished first in a four-team 'B' match on a rainy Tuesday afternoon at the par-72 Dudley Hill Country Club. Becker was 33 strokes behind in second place, while host Nichols shot a 341 for third and Anna Maria followed with a 345.
In addition to Ford, the Anchormen were led by rookie Ryan Butler who was just +2 on the day with a 74 and junior Kyle Harper who carded a 76 (+4). Third-year Brian Fitzgerald rounded out Rhode Island College's scoring with an 83.
Becker had three golfers in the top 10. Rookie Ryan Benson tied for fifth as he shot an 83. Thomas Tempesta posted an 84 for an eighth place finish and Jon Lento was 10th with an 85. Finishing off the scoring for Becker was sophomore Branden Parkhouse who turned in an 86.

Matthew Quigley submitted the best card for the hosts as he recorded an 80 to finish fourth overall. The Bison's other rounds included sophomore
Morgan Billings with an 86, classmate
Greg Strootman with an 87 and an 88 from first-year
Jordon Kadlik.
Senior Chris Kusz led the AMCATS with an 83 tying for fifth, while Shawn Frigon and junior Dylan Jarmulowicz each turned in 87's and Chris Gosselin shot an 88.
Nichols hosts the CCC Fall Invitational at Green Hill Park in Worcester, Mass. on Thursday. The first tee time is at noon.
