DUDLEY, Mass. (Sept. 22) – Nichols College golfers Jon-Paul Chouinard (Natick, Mass.) and Joe Gallagher (Hopewell Jct., N.Y.) were top individual finishers as the Nichols College golf team took top team honors at a home quad match Tuesday afternoon. Led by a three-over par 75 from the duo, the Bison finished atop the pack with a composite 309, ahead of Rhode Island College (320), Becker (324) and Wentworth (328).
Samuel Scott (Aquinnah, Mass.) tied for third with Becker's David Rixham, firing a five-over 77, while Brent Riehl (Cheshire, Conn.) finished with an 82. Newcomer Matthew Quigley (Sturbridge, Mass.) rounded out the Bison's squad with an 88.
Nichols travels to the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury College this weekend for its second two-round tournament of the season.
