INTERCOLLEGIATE VARSITY ATHLETICS INSURANCE POLICY
All Student-Athletes are required to have an active primary health insurance provider prior to intercollegiate participation. Each academic year, Nichols College provides its Varsity and Junior Varsity Student-Athletes a secondary insurance policy which covers all injuries that may have occurred during a Nichols College sponsored athletic event (i.e. practices or games). However, Student-Athletes who sustain a non-athletic related injury will not be covered under this policy and in this instance the Student-Athlete's primary insurance will be independently responsible.

Any Student-Athlete who suffers an injury as a result of participation in any of the above named intercollegiate sports at Nichols College will complete a secondary insurance claim form available in the Athletic Training Room. Once this form is complete it will be faxed to Gallagher Special Risk by a staff member of the Nichols College Department of Sports Medicine. If you would like to obtain a copy of the policy please contact a member of the Athletic Training Staff.
