BEVERLY, Mass. (9/28/2026) - For the second time this season, the Nichols College women's golf team swept the Conference of New England (CNE) weekly awards, as senior Delaney Giesen was named Golfer of the Week and rookie Isabelle Deurquiza earned Rookie of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.

Giesen earns her second Golfer of the Week honor of the season after another strong performance for the Bison, finishing tied for first in this week's Albertus Magnus College Fall Invitational. She paced the Bison with a 12-over-par 83 round at the par-71 New Haven Country Club,  sharing the top spot in the 12-player field with Albertus Magnus' Molly Martin and Gabriella Dellacroce. For Giesen, it was also her second tournament medal of the campaign. 

Deurquiza was also a standout performer in the same event this past week, claiming sixth place in the individual leader board at 22-over par 93. It is also her second time earning Rookie of the Week honors.
