2025-26 Women's Basketball Season Rewind

DUDLEY, Mass. (3/26/2026) – From career milestones to individual & team accomplishments, there was plenty to celebrate during the 2025-26 Nichols women's basketball season.

The Bison, for the second season in a row, finished with a winning record under the tutelage of first-year interim head coach, Ava Limonciello, going 13-12 overall with a 6-10 mark in conference play. Nichols opened the season on a three-game heater, beginning with a 95-56 victory at Dean College, where the team shot 36-for-76 (47.7%) with 53 bench points and 28 points off turnovers. Later on in the season, the Bison would piece together another three-game win streak against conference opponents, including a 79-37 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology on February 3rd. Along with what was Nichols' best overall shooting performance on the season (32-of-64 | 50.0%), the game also featured a record-breaking performance from guard Alyvia Smith, who landed a total of nine three-point field goals against the Leopards, contributing to a career-high 35-point night for the senior.
In addition to her record performance at Wentworth, Smith later surpassed 1,000 career points scored in Nichols' 61-44 win over CNE opponent Gordon College on February 11th.

Despite not qualifying for the CNE postseason, the Bison capped off their campaign with a 71-53 Senior Day win over Curry College, with three of the four seniors notching double-figure points in the effort; Smith, Adriana Romano, Tianna Fernandez, along with graduate student Summer Klein.
