The Nichols College Overwatch team took down Manchester in a best-of-5, non-conference match on Tuesday, March 8th in Flynn's Arcade Esports and Gaming Center right here on The Hill by a score of 3-0. With the win, the Bison improve to 2-1 (1-0 NACE) on the season.
The line-up for the Bison had Jabari Brewer-Richardson (Monarch) locked in at the tank position. His support players were Dolan Cassone (Asonnix) and Maxsimo Simonetti (BIGMOVIBZ).The DPS roles were filled by Prince Patel (N1ght) and Brendan Butler (Shmoney).
The Bison were faced with early resistance in map one and two of game one, but the Bison would regain control quickly with the help of Prince Patel's play-of-the game. The Bison took game one by a score of 2-0. In maps two and three, the Bison would not allow the Spartans to advance along the objective, however the Bison would go on to complete the sweep by claiming all objectives on maps two and three. Patel added on two more plays-of-the game in the victory.
The Nichols College Overwatch team is slated to continue their campaign with another match against the Spartans on Monday, March 13th at the Flynn's Arcade, Esports, and Gaming Center.
