DUDLEY, Mass. (4/30/2024) – The Nichols College eSports Team gets set for the Collegiate eSports Commissioner's Cup (CECC) Texas this weekend from May 3
rd to May 5th in Arlington, T.X.
The CECC is an all-inclusive collegiate esports celebration brings collegiate esports athletes from across North America to battle in multiple game titles for the chance to be crowned winner of the Commissioners Cup.
Over multiple days the CECC welcomes 320 teams, 185 schools, and 1,500 of the nation's best esports athletes who will vie for this prestigious award in Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
For the Rocket League Green team, they will compete in Rocket League, after winning the CECC East Regional back on October 30
th, 2023. Nichols College took down Harrisburg University to win group stage 3-1 then in a 4-0 romping over Harrisburg in Grand Finals. Nichols College took home the 2023 CECC regional champion title along with a well-deserved trophy.

The Rocket League matches begin on Friday, May 3
rd, at 10:30 a.m. before the Quarterfinals and Semifinals at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The finals for Rocket League are set 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4
th.
