DUDLEY, Mass. – The top-seeded Nichols College women's tennis team will host the No. 2 seed Endicott College for the third-straight year in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Robinson Tennis Courts.
Nichols advanced to its eighth championship match with a 5-0 win over No. 5-seed Roger Williams on Tuesday afternoon. The Bison took all three doubles matches, while graduate student

Amarie Settiwongse both won their singles matches.
The Bison are led by junior and three-time CCC Player of the Year Settiwongse, who was also named to the CCC First Team in Singles and Doubles. Joining her on the First Team - Doubles was classmate
Isabelle Leonardi. Also selected to the all-conference team was junior
Megan Nathanson, who earned Second Team - Doubles honors with partner
Rachel McDonald. Freshman
Kara Stankewitz received Second Team – Singles while Judd
was honored with First Team – Singles and Third Team – Doubles accolades. Junior

Eduardo Irizarry was named CCC Coach of the Year after leading the Bison to an undefeated season.
The Gulls are led by freshman and CCC Rookie of the Year Justine Hoover, who was also selected to the CCC First Team – Singles and Second Team – Doubles. Senior Lauren Rahr was named Senior Scholar-Athlete, marking the second-straight year an Endicott student-athlete received this award. Joining the Hoover and Rahr on the all-conference team were Hayley Barnett, Gretta Hartman, Reilly Fitzgibbons, Fernanda Trevino, and Margot Anderson.
The Bison and Gulls are meeting for the 30th time in program history. The Gulls hold an 18-11 advantage in the series, however the Bison have won the last five matchups. This will be the seventh meeting between the two programs in the CCC Championship match. Nichols is trying to complete a 'three-peat' over the Gulls, having defeating them 5-0 in 2016 and 5-1 in 2017.
The winner of Saturday's match will earn the
CCC's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament, which will be held in May, 2019.
