DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols College men's basketball head coach Tom Glynn has announced the addition of Michael Mailhot to his coaching staff.

Mailhot comes to Dudley by way of the United States Coast Guard Academy, where he spent the 2014-15 campaign as an assistant coach with the men's hoops squad. He generated scouting reports and broke down opponents offensive and defensive tendencies at practice. He also worked with Synergy, Krossover, and Hudl.

Prior to his arrival at Nichols, Mailhot worked at Emmanuel College, first with the women's basketball team (2013-14) and later the men's (2014). He helped recruit the Class of 2019 for both.

Mailhot is a graduate of Emmanuel College, where he was a four-year starter and two-year captain (2011-12; 2012-13) for the Saints men's basketball program. He previously played at Norwich Free Academy and was named both the New London Day and Norwich Bulletin Player of the Year in 2009.
